How much is a preview wedding makeup and hair appointment?
Previews are currently £75 per service for brides, so that's £150 in total for both your Barnet & Boatrace.
If any of your wedding party wish to have a preview too the price for this is £70 per service.

When should my preview appointment take place?
Ideally we like to carry out makeup and hair previews during the week 2- 3 months before your wedding day.
If it's a weekend you're after we can usually fit you in outside of peak season but early booking is recommended.
We'll usually contact you at the beginning of your wedding year to book you in.

ARE JOINT HAIR + MAKEUP previews AVAILABLE?
Booking your hair and makeup preview on the same day is a great idea so you’ll get to see the whole bridal vibe come together exactly as it will on the big day.
Tip: Some brides try to tie this in with either their engagement shoot or a wedding dress fitting!
If we're unable to do offer you a joint appointment we'll arrange 2 consecutive appointments on the same day.

Can I bring a friend to my preview?
Yes we've had Maids, Mum's, Dad's and even Husbands-to-be attend in the past. We just ask that you confirm this with us beforehand as sometimes we're limited on space and would hate to leave Mum out in the cold!
how long is a preview appointment?
Appointment times vary but we usually allow 1.5 hours for a joint hair and makeup preview. We like to use your time wisely, so the more info you pop on your Booking Form, the more time we can spend doing the fun, hands-on styling and glam bit!

how should i prep for my appointment?
We'll send you full guidelines in preparation for your appointment and again nearer the time!
In a nutshell your hair is best washed the day or night before — “day-old” hair behaves better and makes your style last longer.
We love working on skin that’s freshly cleansed and moisturised, but if you’d rather come with makeup on, that’s totally fine with us too.
Doing a light exfoliation the day before will also give us a super-smooth base to play with.

what if i'm not local to have a preview?
We are used to helping brides who live out of the area so don't panic. We can organise your preview further in advance which means we can usually co-ordinate the diaries. However, if it's not possible don't sweat!
We can always arrange your wedding hair and makeup consultation via phone, FaceTime or WhatsApp video call to make it easier for you.

I like to dance! will my makeup + hair stay put?
We'll discuss your hair and skincare routine and offer you specialist advice at your preview appointment to ensure that everything stays put.
We always use the strongest of hairsprays and have plenty of pins for your hair.
For your makeup we'll select the correct moisturiser for your skin type, a suitable primer, foundation and set this all with a light powder as well as a setting spray.
If you decide that you'd like a top up or different look for the evening we can return to your wedding venue and carry out a restyle or we can always give you some tips on how to transform your look from day to night or why not book one of our "Top Up Artists"

How many pros will I need?
Most of our brides have 2 professionals (1 Hair Stylist + 1 Makeup Artist) to ensure that the morning flows nicely and no one feels rushed.
For groups of 6 people or more (or early ceremonies) an additional Stylist/Makeup Artist may be needed.
We'll advise what's best when we send you your tailored quote.

can you include my Wedding guests too?
Absolutely — we can provide hair and makeup services for your guests too. However, early booking is recommended to guarantee availability within our team.
what's the save the date fee/deposit...
Weddings: £100 non refundable deposit (deducted from your invoice).
Special Occasions: 50% non refundable deposit (deducted from your invoice)
Payment accepted via bank transfer or debit/credit card.
