LGBTQ+ Hair and Makeup FAQ's
as a same sex couple we have lots of people to get ready! what's the max group size you can do?
The sky's the limit! We have previously carried out up to 22 hair and makeup services for one wedding with two brides and both of their bridal parties. We just bring more of the team along all depending on your requirements!
How many professionals would we need for 2 brides, 8 maids and 2 mums?
Our Lead and Senior Stylists and Makeup Artists tend to provide the most efficient service as they have the most industry experience.
Depending on timings for your day we'd recommend 4 - 5 Hair and Makeup Artists to carry out 24 services.
what services do you offer for grooms, groomsmen and bridesmen?
We offer a mini facial, under eye and lip treatment, blemish coverage and under eye concealer (if required) + brow grooming to help you relax and feel your best too.
what's your average start time for big wedding parties?
Weddings can be long old days anyway and no-one wants to peak too soon! Therefore we tend to start most wedding preparations around 8am, so don't worry no crazy 5.30am starts when booking your hair and makeup with us!
we're getting ready at the same venue, but in two seperate rooms. will that be ok?
Yes. We always organise the hair and makeup services between stylists and makeup artists before your wedding day to make the process as slick as possible and minimise movement between rooms.
we never wear makeup and want to look natural but still look good in photos - is that possible?
You bet your life it is! Our approach is less is more. Previous clients that aren't used to wearing makeup have loved the Mii Cosmetics range that we use as it feels natural on the skin and still looks good in photos.
We'll never force you into a look that you're not comfortable with. If you don't want lashes either - that's fine by us too!
Many of the products we use are mineral based which sits subtly, radiantly and beautifully on all skin types. You'll leave your guests guessing whether you're actually wearing makeup or not!
