You, us and Covid - 19
Hurray! Weddings have been given the green light to go ahead again as from 8th Mach 2021. However, we are not able to return to work until 12th April 2021.
As before we need to make all of our clients aware of the changes we have made in order to comply with the latest government safety guidelines surrounding makeup and hair trials as well as wedding day and special occasion appointments. As we are a close contact service we are unable to maintain the 1 metre distance. However, we are prepared and equipped with face coverings (type 2 surgical ) as well as clear visors for all of our safety. As per the government guidance on 8th August 2020 clients are required to wear a face covering for all hair appointments. For makeup appointments this will need to be removed (for obvious reasons!) Usually the early bird catches the worm. However, please do not arrive early for your appointment as we may have a client before you and will need to allow time to sanitise all of our products as well as surfaces before your arrival. We have completed the BARBICIDE certification course so that you can rest assured we are fully aware and following the correct hygiene and sanitisation procedures for Covid-19 to minimise the risk of infection. We will require all clients to complete and sign a Client Consent Form just before each appointment commences. You will be given a printed copy upon arrival to read and sign. We know this is probably second nature by now, but please use the sanitisers provided upon arrival of your appointment. We promise to do the same. If you wish to bring a friend or family member with you please contact us to confirm that this is OK as space is limited. Payment for trials can be made via BACS before your appointment or we can also accept cash. Usual terms for payment of wedding day makeup and hair is to be made via BACS 7 days before the wedding date. Toilets are available to use. If nature calls, you gotta go! Cotton hand towels have been removed so please use the disposable paper towels instead after hand washing. If you display any symptoms of coronavirus within 7 days of your appointment, or you have been contacted by Test and Trace to self isolate please contact us to discuss ASAP so that we can make alternative arrangements. Should you need to postpone your wedding or event due to a government lockdown we will happily transfer your deposit to your new wedding date. Please refer to your booking terms and conditions for our refund and cancellation policy. Finally, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions whatsoever regarding your appointment and coronavirus. We totally understand that you may have concerns and we really want your experience with us to be as straight forward, stress free and as relaxing as possible during the coronavirus pandemic. |
